Mini Horse Brass

A small size horse brass. This one could also be worn as a necklace so I've hung it on some vintage french velvet ribbon to allow for that. Scale around neck can be seen in the third photograph.

Horse brasses have been used to decorate horses for centuries. There is some belief that they were used as amuletic objects, to ward off the evil eye and bring about good luck.
